Artist Statement
These paintings based on my
childhood memories of farm life were
in a first ever-Solo art exhibition
a the Canada Agriculture Museum.
With my own daughter as my muse, the
series followed the exploration of a
curious young girl as she pursued
her environment and barnyard
friends. In observing my
daughter, I was reminded at how
genuinely compassionate, gentle and
serene children can be in the
company of other small, vulnerable
living things. They are all
part of the same precious world. |
